Police in Finland Seize More Than 100 Firearms and 125,000 Ammo Rounds in Kouvola
Police in southeastern Finland said they confiscated a large number of firearms, ammunition, and explosives from a Kouvola man earlier this summer.
Police in Kouvola said on Tuesday they confiscated 107 firearms as well as a large amount of ammunition and an unspecified amount of explosives from a local man described as elderly who they suspect is not authorized to possess them.
The Southeastern Police Department said the man’s arsenal consisted of rifles, shotguns, pistols, and revolvers, as well as parts of firearms and 125,000 rounds of ammunition in various calibers. All were seized during a raid carried out in June.
